# XDP Staking

XDP Staking allows XDP holders to stake their tokens and earn Doppler Points (DP) during DP Season 3.

### Stake

Users may stake any amount of XDP through the XDP Staking portal.

Once the staking transaction is confirmed on-chain, the deposited XDP becomes part of the user's active stake and becomes eligible to earn DP.

Only actively staked XDP qualifies for DP accrual. XDP pending withdrawal is excluded from the active stake and does not earn DP.

### Unstake and Withdraw

Users may request to unstake all or part of their active XDP stake at any time.

Once the unstaking transaction is confirmed on-chain, the requested amount is immediately removed from the active stake and stops earning DP.

A seven-day withdrawal waiting period applies before unstaked XDP becomes available for withdrawal.

After the waiting period ends, users must submit a separate withdrawal transaction to transfer their XDP to their wallets.

If a user partially unstakes, the remaining active stake continues to earn DP with the 20× boost during Season 3.

DP accumulated before unstaking remains recorded under the applicable Season 3 rules.

**Can I partially unstake?**

Yes. Users may unstake all or part of their active XDP stake at any time.
